De'Andre Salter, a/k/a “Pastor D” is a dynamic visionary who shares an enthusiasm for helping people transform. He is the Senior Pastor of The Tabernacle, a fast growing, non-denominational ministry in South Plainfield, NJ. Under his leadership, the ministry aims to transform people into winners who positively impact the world for Christ. He serves his church proudly without compensation for his services. 

Prior to becoming a Senior Pastor in 2006, De'Andre Salter had successfully built many small businesses including Deandre Salter Enterprises, LLC and Professional Risk Solutions, which has multiple offices and negotiates annual contracts for some of America's most influential publicly traded companies and executives. He and his businesses have been profiled on UPN, and featured in Black Enterprise, Fortune, The Star-Ledger, and many other publications. In 2005, he was selected as one of the top 40 Executives, under the age of forty, in America. 

With his personal and corporate ministry focused on tent-making activities such as creating jobs and financial independence Pastor D has led the creation of more than 50 businesses. His track record of proven results in ministry and business makes him a highly sought after speaker and tentmaking mentor. Pastor D holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Drew University, and Associate’s Degrees in International Business from the University of Brussels and the University of Mexico. He also holds a Masters in Theology from The Kings Seminary and is a fellow of a special study program at Oxford University. He is slowly working toward his long-term goal of acquiring PHD.

As if that isn’t enough, always concerned about helping others, pastor founded the Salter Foundation for Hope in 2007, a private foundation, whose purpose is to help spur tentmaking and higher education for ministers.

De’Andre is married to his childhood sweetheart, Terri Jones Salter, author of the best selling novel, “Sins of My Mother.” They reside with their three children in Northern New Jersey.
