At The Tabernacle, we express this truth (worshiping through our giving) by covenanting together “to contribute cheerfully and regularly (see 2 Corinthians 9:6-7) to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the pastors, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations,” as we strive to honor the Lord with the “firstfruits” (Proverbs 3:9) of all our labor.
Contribution Options
1. Place your gifts in an offering basket during any worship service.
We invite you to regularly participate in giving as an important part of our worship services, as we honor God with the first portions of all our wealth (Proverbs. 3:9). To that end, we provide offering envelopes to any regular contributor who chooses to use them. Envelopes provide a valuable tool for managing regular, faithful giving, and allow you to quickly and easily specify how you want each gift allocated among various accounts (e.g., "Tithes and Offerings", "Missions", and "Building Fund"). Envelope information also helps our Financial Secretary and his team to quickly and accurately allocate given amounts between various funds when counting collected offerings each week.
2. Give online via eCheck or credit card using our secure payment gateway.
The Tabernacle encourages online giving via the “eCheck” payment option from a checking or savings account. We also allow giving via credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. However, we encourage you not to use credit cards unless you plan to pay off your card in full each month -- we are debt-averse at The Tabernacle, and do not want to contribute to anyone else going further into debt.
3. Establish an automatic withdrawal from your checking, savings or credit using your paypal account.
Since many people choose to conveniently pay their mortgage or utility payments each month through automatic withdrawals from their checking or savings accounts, The Tabernacle also provides regular givers the opportunity to have a portion of their tithes and offerings deducted automatically from a pre-arranged account using the paypal system. If you would like to arrange for automated monthly contribution withdrawal using paypal please click here.

4. Establish a one-time or recurring automatic withdrawal for the senior pastor from your checking, savings or credit using your paypal account.
Our senior pastor is not supported by the church budget and he does not receive any financial benefit (travel, housing, fringe or otherwise) from the church except for the generous donations made by caring individuals who value the impact of of his ministry on their life (1 Corinthians 9:11). If you would like to be one of these partakers of his ministry burdens, you an establish a regular giving plan to sow into his ministry using paypal (whether you have an account or not). If you would like to arrange for automated monthly contribution withdrawal for the senior pastor using paypal please click here.
