Building Restoration Project

In August of this year, the devastation due to Hurricane Irene affected many of our family, friends and loved ones. Fortunately, the health and lives of our congregation and community were spared. For this we are thankful!

Like numerous other communities, South Plainfield and our church have suffered much structural damage. Flooding was so severe in the area that The Tabernacle had over four feet of water throughout the entire building. Everything in the building was damaged or destroyed.

Since that time we have begun rebuilding. The damaged walls have been removed. Mold mitigation and remediation has been accomplished. However, there is still much work to do. Walls need to be replaced and painted, flooring restored and carpeted, repair of electrical damage, repair of audiovisual and sound equipment, and replacement of cabinetry and furniture.

We need your help and charitable contribution. With your support we can complete our building restoration and continue with the many ministry and community related projects.

The Tabernacle is a 501C(3) organization and all contributions are tax deductible. A donation receipt can be provided upon request.

We greatly appreciate your monetary kindness and may God continue to bless you and yourloved ones.
